Dolly's Ride

"Dolly's Ride" is a bronze statue of a giant sea turtle ridden by a little girl holding her Raggedy Ann doll.  It was a gift to the children of Houston from First Houston Doll Club on June 8, 1995.  The artist was Ann Armstrong.

At the entrance to the Museum of American Architecture and Decorative Arts at Houston Baptist University also stands a statue by Ann Armstrong.  It was commissioned by First Houston Doll Club and other local donors in recognition of the Redwood Blank Doll Collection housed inside the museum.
